Quality assurance guidelines for several California health plans note that a comprehensive optometric exam potentially contains 26 separate tests and measurements of the patient's visual and neurological systems. Additionally, equipment used, tests performed and conditions evaluated are numerous, and include:

  • Ocular Tumors
  • Central Retinal Vein/Artery Occlusion
  • Age-related Macular Degeneration (ARMD)

Binocular Vision Tests

  • Computer Screen Problems
  • Vision Problems Affecting Learning
